  This is a four year process of composing and producing all by myself in many different rooms in Porto where I lived. These fifteen songs are portraits of the city streets, places and feelings of this city. Porto it's one of the most old European cities and yet full of avant garde type of art, exquisite characters, entrepreneurs that even though they are surrounded by the facilities of a big city the nature that grows and shapes it makes them present and connected by it's importance. There's no coincidence that Harry Potter was in fact inspired by this place, the time I spent living in it my inspiration couldn't stop, every day I had a better song, every day I had more ideas, more choices, more confusion, this lead me to search for meditation and contemplation as a way to get out of my head and be present, therefore I started to feel Porto's essence, in the song "Devesas" I'm describing how it is to be a little out of the city, not far away, but far enough to be able to look at it from afar, to breathe the city as a mountain, as something you need to look at to feel small. I must thank every person I met, every friendship and every night out in the bars ("Passos Manuel"), I must thank the bohemian way I learned to fit in, all was important for my growth and work. This album has a message and the message is my message interpretation from Porto and everyone that makes it alive.
